Network Rail is building a Fixed Telecommunications Network to provide a platform to support its ongoing GSM-R (Global System for Mobile communications – Rail) network and operational railway circuits across England, Scotland and Wales. The network scheduled for completion in 2012, and Network Rail’s operational railway circuits; information technology data traffic and business telephony traffic will subsequently be migrated to the FTN. As a subcontractor, AP Rail & Civil Engineering is currently engaged installing the nationwide track side transmission masts and equipment required for the new driver communications system.

We have a special prepared workforce with a unique set of skills, trained to build up all kinds of concrete bases, ready to face any challenges in the pursuit and fulfilment of objectives in order to meet the deadlines set by the client. Once again, these specialists are competent and hold the relevant training and experience required.

We built several types of bases such as:

  • traditional concrete bases;
  • rapid deployment sites (RDS), and
  • TEH bases.
